This update comes with enhanced features that boost network reliability, security, and scalability, such as DHCP ZTP, ECN, PFC, DLB, etc. The PICOS 4.5.0M version has been extensively tested, addressing several bugs and improving stability to assist customers in managing complex network environments.

PICOS 4.5.0M has updated main features for both PicOS® enterprise and data center switches.
For PicOS® Enterprise Switches
L2/L3 WEB Access Control: Enhance network security and management efficiency with HTTPS login and a new command to manage WEB port access.
DHCP Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP): Streamline network switch deployments with automatic IP address allocation and network configuration.
Standby IP Address: Maintain network reliability and minimize downtime with a standby IP for uninterrupted device management.
Perpetual PoE: Ensure constant power supply during reboots and upgrades, enhancing network stability and continuity.
For PicOS® Data Center Switches
Priority Flow Control (PFC): Enhance traffic management and ensure uninterrupted critical application performance.
PFC Deadlock Prevention: Offer stable network performance and user experience, reducing the possibility of network failures or packet loss.
PFC Watchdog: Ensure network continuity and security while reducing maintenance costs, supporting both automatic and manual recovery from deadlock states.
Explicit Congestion Notification (ECN): Improve data transmission efficiency and bandwidth usage while reducing latency.
Easy ECN: Easily use the ECN feature, offering Throughput-First and Latency-First modes for specific user needs.
Dynamic Load Balancing (DLB): Optimize network resource utilization and simplify network management, providing normal, optimal, and assigned modes.
Buffer Management: Control network congestion, avoid packet loss and transmission delay, and improve network stability and performance.
