Very happy with the modules and services offered by FS.com. I ordered QSFP+ modules to fit for my computing networks. They can receive and forward without frame loss. Customer service was excellent, I had queries to the technical team about what I was ordering and to the sales team about the delivery, each time the response was helpful, accurate and professional.

We always have a wonderful shopping experience here. We were looking for some 40G transceivers with low power consumption of less than 4.5W for our Cisco ASR 9000 Series switches. Then our Account Manager gave us a quick response and recommended the QSFP+ UNIV and QSFP+ SR modules. Considering the existing LC cables we have, we chose the first solution and ordered twenty QSFP+ UNIV transceivers. We were happy they came without breakage. FS always does a good job of packaging and delivery. We plug them into our switches and they are recognized immediately. As they are supposed to be, they are plug and play as well as fully functional in our Cisco switches. No compatibility problems so far. They have worked flawlessly and operated at a full speed, no packet loss or interface issues or anything like that. Much thanks to FS!

Good 40GBASE-UNIV modules. Work well with MMF and SMF cables in our Arista 7160. We have been buying transceivers here for years. They always arrive on time, packaged well, at a great price and unbeatable warranty.

We have a Cisco Nexus 7010 switch which serves as ToR switch in our data center. As we have had bundles of LC multimode fiber cables, we’d like to buy some multimode 40G QSFP+ with LC interfaces.
After checking on the web, we noticed that nearly most 40G SR transceivers are designed with MTP or MPO connector. So we consulted fs personnel. As they recommend me, two types of modules, BiDi and LX4 were all available. We checked the specifications of our switches and then bought LX4 modules.
Shipped quickly as expected. All the transceivers were well packed in the hard plastics. The socket is nice and tight. Plugged them into 40G ports and connected up the ports on switches, they worked like a charm. I will buy more next time when I need more transceivers.

I had bought some FS SFP 10G SR modules for my Juniper switches last year, they still worked well so far. So this time, I plan to order some 10G SR and 40G QSFP LX4 for our Dell S4048-ON switches. But I had met such a situation that our Arista switch took down the interface when I plugged a transceiver, I'm worried about that would occur to this Dell switches. I confirmed with FS tech rep whether that case would happen if I use their transceivers because it’s very important for us to keep the S4048-ON switches working normally.

Those guys test the 10G SR and 40G LX4 modules on their device and sent me their test results, no port shut down occurred when using their QSFP+ LX4 modules. So I ordered 6 40G LX4 and 20 10G SR at a time. The Dell switches worked fine when I plugged the QSFP+ LX4 modules, no issues occurred. Now the connections between the Juniper and dell switches are stable in our data room.

We were looking for some solution advice for our campus 40G network upgrade. There were two buildings with 1km fiber between them. We tried to build two 40G lines between them with the Brocade 1160 switches, and probably a 10G line was needed as well. For this setup, how to design the most cost-effective solution was a problem for us.

FS tech guys provide two solutions, one was to use 40G QSFP+ modules with MTP cables, the other was to use 40G LX4 modules with LC fibers. And they kindly reminded me that the 40G LX4 optics worked on duplex LC fibers, simple to maintain and install in later network build. Considering the existing LC fiber cables we have, we chose the second solution and ordered several 10G SFP+ and four QSFP+ LX4 modules. Those transceivers arrived on time with a solid package and worked fine with the Brocade switches. Our network speed is better than before now.

I deployed several of these transceivers on my Cisco switch. No setup, just plug and play. And they have been in service well over two months now, without a single glitch. Value in my order.

Great product. I received this and plugged it into the Cisco switch model nexus 9236 and cisco nexus 93180YC. Set up was quite easy and the performance is equally outstanding. I am satisfied with this transceiver so far.
