FOLS-201 Fiber Optical Light Source

FOLS-201 optical light source is a fiber optic tester with exquisite appearance and ergonomic design. It provides 1310nm and 1550nm dual-wavelength laser output for singlemode fiber measurements, which is mainly used in FTTx networks and fiber network testing. When combine with a power meter, the instrument is called an Optical Loss Test Set, or OLTS, typically used to measure optical power and end-to-end optical loss.

Does the optical light source support LC connector? By D***y on 23/11/2020

The optical light source is equipped with 2.5mm FC, SC connector, and the FC connector is installed by default. If you need to connect the LC port, you can realize the connection with the help of a FC male to LC female multimode fiber adapter or FC male to LC female single mode fiber adapter to convert. If you need to realize the connection of SC to LC, you need to change the FC connector to SC connector type; then SC male to LC female fiber adapter is recommended for this connection.
