I bought this to upgrade my home WiFi, because my existing WiFi router could not be centrally located (due to wiring). I installed this high in my attic at the center of my single story home. Once I set it up, I shut down my router's WiFi, and now I have a strong (and very fast) WiFi signal throughout my home and even outside. This is a great access point. I have been using it for a couple of months with absolutely NO problems - highly recommend!
