FHD Fibre Splice Tray Installation and Routing

In fibre optic networking, fibre optic splicing is a commonly used method to fuse two fibres together in order to ensure the continuation of light transmission or to extend the fibre optic cable length. And fibre optic splice tray is an essential tool in fibre optic splicing, which can protect the fibre optic splices from damage and leave enough amount of fibre counts and lengths for future installation. This video shows the details of the 24-fibre splice tray and its installation into our FHD rack mount fibre enclosures.

FS 24 fibres optical splice tray is designed for use with FHD series interconnection hardware and fibre enclosures. It can house and protect fibre optic splices. The attached spools and slacks guarantee proper fibre cable management and bend radius of the fibre optic cable. Also the fibre splice holder and the transparent cover allow for clear labeling and logical organization of the fibre optic splices. Each splice tray is designed to hold 24 heat shrink single fibre splice sleeves of fusion splicing or mechanical splicing. With the side latches, the 24 fibres splice trays can be stacked together to serve networks that have a larger number of fibres and higher bandwidth.
