Ethernet Patch Panel for Network Cabling

Cat5e/Cat6 Patch Panel and Blank Ethernet Patch Panel

Ethernet patch panel plays an important role in network cabling system for cable management. Among all the Ethernet patch panels, Cat5e and Cat6 patch panels are the most commonly used because of the universality of Cat5e and Cat6 patch cables. These patch panels can offer you simple and efficient interconnection in 10/100/1000Base-T, fast and gigabit Ethernet applications.

There are shielded and unshielded patch panels for Cat5e, Cat6 and other Ethernet cables. This video introduces five Ethernet patch panel types, namely, Cat5e shielded patch panel, Cat5e unshielded patch panel, Cat6 shielded patch panel, Cat6 unshielded patch panel, 24-port keystone patch panel.

To achieve a nice cable management, choosing a right patch panel is essential. Then, how to choose a suitable Ethernet patch panel for your Ethernet cabling? For example, if you have many Cat5e or Cat6 patch cables, you can choose a single Cat5e or Cat6 patch panel for cable management. But if you just have several Cat5e and Cat6 cables to manage, it would waste many ports to use Cat5e and Cat6 patch panels. Then a keystone patch panel is a better choice. The 24-port keystone patch panel shown in the video accepts different snap-in jacks like Cat5e and Cat6.
