Can this module work with PLR4 10km in a direct link？

I have consulted this with my AM and the answer was "not suggested" and that it wound be better to use transceivers of the same type in pairs. Tested on my FS switches and the Cisco Nexus N9K-C93180YC-EX and the results showed OK. The powerbudget of 40G 1.4KM modules #48276 is 5dB, so I think the direct link may also work if your link loss is less than 5dB. by P***t on 1 December 2021
