I see that the MTP cable recommended on the website is 12-fibers Type B MTP cable [ID#68017]. Can the 12-fibers MTP cable be connected to the 8-fibers MTP connector of the FHD cassette?

The 4 fibers in the middle of 12-fibers are actually not used, so the 12-fiber can be connected to the 9-fiber MTP connector of the FHD cassette. by FS.com on 10 January 2022
