Emmm... the OS2 is SMF patch cable, OS2 optical fiber cables are more appropriate for outdoor and universal loose tube solutions, which would include external plant and most backhaul networks. It is ideal for connecting 1G/10G/40G/100G long distance Ethernet connections. The OM2 is MMF patch cable, it supports up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet at lengths up to 82 meters but is more commonly used for 1 Gigabit Ethernet applications. by L***n on 12/10/2021
