Removal Steps for Housing Removal Tool
Easily perform shell disassembly on-site without exposing any fibers or requiring any further disassembly of connectors.
Remove the dust cap from the MTP® connector.
Align the connector with the keyway, and push until it latches with a "click".
Depress the silver tabs to release the housing.
Gently pull the spring push from the connector housing.
Reliable One-Step Polarity Change
After removing the housing, rotate 180°, and insert it into the fiber to swap the keying. Quickly change MTP® and MTP®-16 cable polarity from A to B or vice versa.
Rotate the shell 180 ° and insert it into the fiber to achieve polarity change.
Verify completion of polarity change.
