CAT6 Snagless Booted Unshielded (UTP) Slim Ethernet Network Patch Cable, 28AWG, 250MHz, 10GBase-T
Category 6 cable supports up to 250 MHz and speeds up to 10 Gbps over 37-55 meters of cable and 100 meters for slower (the 10/100/1000BASE-T standards) network. It fully backward compatible with all the previous categories.
The smaller patch lead size helps alleviate congestion as well as improving airflow with in the racks. Snagless boot prevents unwanted cable snags during installation and provides extra strain relief.

Difference Between Cat6 Slim AWG28 and Standard AWG24
Cable's gauge indicates the thickness of the conductor in which the electrons flow. In the cable industry, it is referred to as current flow (of electrons) that runs throughout the wire. Imagine a flow of water that runs through a pipe. The wider the pipe is, the more water runs through it in shorter time. The lower the gauge, the higher the thickness.
